ET 200S is used for distributed expansion of the SIMATIC
safety controllers via PROFIBUS.
An ET 200S station can contain both
failsafe and standard input and output modules. Compliance with
SIL 3 is attained through the use of a type
PM-E 24 V DC/120/230 V AC power module.
